Aidan Kemp's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On April 26th, Aidan Quinn Kemp was a happy, healthy teenager, a varsity cheerleader, a big brother, and the apple of his mother's eye. On April 27th, the family's world came crashing down when Aidan was admitted to the hospital after having a grand mal seizure at school. Aidan was diagnosed with viral meningitis which caused seizures, resulting in swelling to his brain.
His road to recovery will be long, and he receives the best care by being hospitalized at the Providence Pediatric ICU, about an hour away from his home. Because Aidan is unconscious, the family feels strongly that a parent must be with him at all times because they never know when he will wake up. Travel expenses are adding up quickly, as are the expenses associated with staying in the hospital as a non-patient.
