Support Milo's Urgent Medical Needs

I know many of you have been texting and asking about Milo, and I have not returned your texts. Honestly, it’s been a long, emotional, and expensive few days, and the energy to text you all back just wasn’t there. But your concerns and check-ins didn’t go unnoticed, and I’m so thankful for everyone checking in on my baby.

Milo has Cryptorchidism, which is something I was already aware of. Due to this, he was never neutered. To be neutered meant an abdominal surgery that comes with a hefty price tag. However, in my decision to not get him fixed, I opened him up to the possibility of infections and the possibility of cancer. The guilt is already immense. So please, don’t comment and tell me I’m a horrible pet parent because I already know.

Milo’s prostate is enlarged, and he currently has a urinary tract infection. Milo needs to go back to the vet for more imaging next week to make sure his antibiotics work and that his prostate returns to normal size. He also needs to be neutered in the next couple of weeks. It’s literally a matter of life or death if I ignore this again. Milo will now be prone to UTIs, which, if left untreated, can lead to kidney infection and then possible death.

Long story short, Milo is my baby. We have already had an expensive and emotional week and are preparing for more in the coming weeks just the same. This is the part where I am asking for help.
