In life, there are many beautiful moments, but there are also challenges that can alter your life. 

My cousin Mike, is currently fighting for his life—but before I tell you about that, I want you to know who Mike is—the beautiful part of life. 

Mike is a California kid, a surfer and a bass player. 

He loves his VW bus, but not as much as he loves his two young boys—David and Ben. 

Mike is a son and a brother. 

To me, Mike is my cousin (I have 16 other cousins, but Mike has always been the steady one, the one who drove 8 hours to my wedding when it felt like no one else was coming).

 Mike has a love for life that is contagious if you’re lucky enough to be around him. 

In this moment in his life, Mike is in a battle. A couple of months ago, he was diagnosed with colon cancer and it’s rapidly overtaking his once strong body. But the beautiful thing in this tough time is that Mike is surrounded by love and support and is keeping a positive outlook. He is determined to fight and beat the cancer.  

Being a single dad, the expenses for living and medical expenses are mounting. As a family we are supporting him as best we can, but we need your help.
