On February 1st Logan was diagnosed with Influenza A. He was put on Tamiflu and sent home. The weekend went by and feeling like something wasn’t quite right Jordyn and James took him into the hospital, he was admitted on February 5th and has been in the hospital since. 

It’s been a mystery as to what exactly is wrong with Logan. In the beginning they knew he had the flu and croup which then turned into pneumonia and went septic. Next came bilateral pleural effusions which means fluid in the pleural cavity around the lungs. He was transferred to the ICU where they put in two chest tubes to drain the fluid. He has since been transferred to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake where they have run a boat load of tests and still can’t pin this thing down. James and Jordyn are in Salt Lake with Logan while family is helping take care of Emmett and Kapri. This money will go towards helping ease the burden of the medical bills incurred and travel expenses for the family on Logan’s journey back to healthy.
