BOXED INTO A CORNER - PLEASE HELP!
In the past ten years, I have had two battles with cancer. I have had to fight both times with everything I had in order to continue on this phenomenal path of living. I have been fortunate enough to endure cancer treatments over the years and gain precious time with my four incredible children.
Unfortunately, a recent biopsy showed that my cancer has returned and my treatment options are all very aggressive. Due to the rare type of Endocervical Adenocarcinoma recurrence, and how it acts, there is no clear path to recovery. On June 2nd, with my Cleveland Clinic oncology team, I will make the decision between full abdominal radiation, experimental chemo therapies, traditional systemic chemotherapy treatments, or a combination of these options.
After radical hysterectomy in 2005, and major surgery and chemotherapy in 2010, I currently am not in the greatest condition for another fight, but there are times in each of our lives that despite how we feel, we must fight on. Furthermore, I know that I can do it with some support.
Unable to work, and as a single mom, I hope to keep my quality of life as high as possible to keep making beautiful memories with my loved ones. This is where you come in -
