On July 9, 2018 my dear friend Peter Jordan Readicker passed away in an unfortunate accident. Having been out of work for some time and physically disabled from an industrial accident a couple years ago, Pete was determined to provide for his son.
He and a friend accepted a job to work under the table to move and demo a floating house on Lake Coueur d'Alene. When they arrived at the job site they quickly realized this was a much larger project then they had been led to believe and the home owner did not provide them with adequate tools to do the job despite saying they would.
Pete being Pete pressed on and did his best to get the job done. At the end of the day, he had a little boy at home and he was driven to give him the best life he could. After approximately six hours on the job, somehow Pete ended up in the lake and was not able to keep himself above water. His friend was able to get him to shore and efforts were made to resuscitate him but he was gone.
I know the loss of their son, brother, and father is a void that will never be filled for his family. However, I wish to do whatever I can to help alleviate some of the hardships that came with losing him.
The funds raised through this campaign will be given to his family to help offset the financial costs that came with his passing. Any remaining funds will be deposited into an account for little Peter.
Anything helps. Thank you in advance for your donation.
All my love,
Josh Thorn
