Bear with me. It's long..but please read.

If anyone has known me for any period of time they know how much this lady means to me. They also know that I've helped take care of her since I was in middle school, when her ongoing injures from being hit by an 18 wheeler ups truck became more prominent.

But what happened this December completely sucker punched us, and rocked our whole family.

The day before her birthday, my mom was diagnosed with what we thought was just stage 2 breast cancer, boy were we wrong.

When they did the biopsy they found a second cancer, inflammatory breast cancer. Stage 3....then more tests... cancer in her lymph nodes...then we found cancer in her liver... completely separate from the breast cancer. Our world exploded.

Shes stage 4 and incurable. It's in her blood. We were losing hope. Then mom found a great cancer treatment and research hospital. The program she's in has a patient who has lived 7 years, and didn't even lose their hair. However...great doctors don't come cheap and we really need some help.

My family is prideful. I dont think we have ever reached out for help like this. From the public. From strangers. But we have no choice. If mom has ANY hope its here getting treatment. The facility is in Nashville and mom lives a few hours away so she will also have to stay in a hotel once a month when when goes for treatment.

So here we are, praying that through kind hearts we can make this possible. We can save my mom....and help her live to see the blue ocean water like she's wanted all her life, and watch her granddaughter grow up. This woman has been through hell and back already, let's give her this shot to fight for her life!
