Hi there, my name is Shayla Johnson, married to Phillip Johnson. We recently had our new baby Mylah who was just an utter disbelief to deliver and had to spend days in the hospital heading from the emergency c section and her coming out not breathing and having a heart murmur. After 5 days being in the hospital we are sent home, to welcome our baby into our home and to meet her sister Katie- just for things to take a turn for the worse. My breathing deteriorated and I was rushed to the hospital only to find out my lungs were filling with fluid and I was having heart failure.

I am now undergoing treatment at university of london hospital, with no idea of a return home date. Phil is forced to take time off work and raise our new born baby and toddler alone. He is the bread winner of our family and the more time goes on we are more and more in debit for bills due to me being in the hospital and him playing my role as a mother.

it’s not easy asking for help, nor does anyone ever want to get the the point of asking for help, but my family is struggling not only financially but emotionally through this traumatic event, being separated from your family just days after giving birth is not something anyone should ever go through, but here we are.

so if you can donate anything to help us, pay rent, hydro, essentials it would really mean the world to make this emotionally stressful time a less financially stressful time.
