My name is Gemma and I’m raising money to help save my giant fluffball Olaf! He’s 11yrs old but you wouldn’t think it, he’s been with me since 12 weeks old, was my marathon training buddy and has got me through some very tough times in the last 11 years! Secrets only he will know! Last week he had a nose bleed, we stopped the bleeding and was his normal happy self running around playing, eating and drinking normal so didn’t think much more of it. When Tuesday happened out of the blue he had another nosebleed was a heavier bleed but again within 10 minutes had stopped it again was playing normal, 2 hours later another bleed this time I couldn’t stop it, had him in the vets within 5 minutes of hanging up, they rushed him off to prep room, what felt like a lifetime was only 10 minutes the vet came

out and got some history reassuring us that Olaf was ok and the bleeding had slowed right down, took the history and wanted to run some bloods to check for his full count and clotting. A while late the clotting results had come back and he was all good there so they wanted to keep him in and observe him while

waiting for the other results. 4 hours later I got the call, Olaf was distressed being in there, the bloods had all come back normal so they suspect a tumor in his nose. My heart dropped, skipped a beat couldn’t believe what they said but all I kept hearing was Olaf was distressed so went and got him to talk further while I was there. The big goofball dragged the vet tech over to me and he settled so we could talk. The bloods showed no reason why he bled so heavily so they suspect a tumor in his nasel cavity and want to refer him for a CT scan, we’ve been told the price would be £3,000-£5,000 my chin nearly hit the ground. Yes he’s 11yrs old but he still has so much more to give, he owes me nothing, I owe him everything so I’m raising funds so we can get him through to this CT scan and get the treatment he needs.
