Kiko has been calling us on Up & Adam in the Morning on 104.5 since he was 9 years old. He calls the show at least once or twice a week to check in, shares his life with us, and listeners have heard him literally grow up on the radio.

Kiko has been raised by his single mom in Santa Maria who works full time and pours every ounce she has into her son. Her love for Kiko and the desire to see him rise above is proven infectious.
From being bullied on the bus, his first day of Junior High, he and his mom moving on from a violent past, him trying out for band and playing 4 instruments, his award winning DARE speech, he and his mom battling and beating her Breast Cancer, trying out for Honor Band, asked to join AVID, making Drum Major, becoming a tenager, volunteering at hospital, getting his license, becoming Musician of the Year at Santa Maria High...These are just a sample of the milestones we have shared with Kiko on the air.
He picked up the saxophone after we said it was our favorite intrument and learned it along with at least three more instuments. It's now his favorite instrument.
We want to buy Kiko a saxopone. A legit one. One he will always treasure from us, his radio family. They are not cheap though and its not something he and his mom would be able to get with their resources, but I know it is a gift that will benefit and bless Kiko for a long long time, and something from us he will never forget.
We got help from a couple teachers, including his music teacher, at his school on how and what to chooose.
