U18 SCHOOL SPORT SA STATE TEAM - BRISBANE

Hi, my name is Layla, I am 17 years old and currently undergoing year 12 studies.

I have recently been selected to play Football (soccer) over in Brisbane for the under 18’s interstate school girls team!

A little bit about me, Football has been a huge part of my life since I first stepped onto the pitch at five years old, playing alongside my brother at my local club: Strathalbyn Strikers. Through years of hard work, dedication, and my love for the game, I have grown as a player and now play in the Women’s State League for the South Adelaide Panthers.

This is a very special opportunity for me to continue to grow and learn and put my skills to the ultimate test against other girls my age from different states. I am very lucky to have been selected to represent South Australia alongside 15 other talented girls, and I’m eager to push myself to the limit.

This is a very exciting milestone and any support—big or small—will help make this experience possible.
