THE U16 MEN'S IRISH NATIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM NEEDS YOUR HELP!

 

The journey started with 250 of Ireland's best club players from around the country. All fighting for a chance to be one of 12 to represent Ireland in international tournaments and the European Championships.

 

THIS IS THE STAGE THEY'VE ALL BEEN DREAMING ABOUT...

Here are the young men you'll be supporting:



Every GREAT team has an extraordinary COACH leading the way to victory by moulding, teaching, counselling and challenging his players to push themselves to new heights. This team is led by a proven winner in the USA and Ireland.

 

 

In May, at their first international tournament, the team outperformed expectations at the Four Nations in Dundee, Scotland, easily defeating Wales and Scotland while scaring England in a 2 point nailbiter.

 

Next on the schedule is the Dussmann Trophy tournament in Luxembourg, where they'll take on Portugal, Romania and Luxembourg. This is the last warmup tournament before heading to Bulgaria for the big dance, The European Championships. It's where our team will be competing with 24 countries to take home the honours.
