Mallow u16 Bball Dribblethon Fundraiser

On Saturday, March 27th, The Mallow u16 Girls team + coaches will dribble the distance from Mallow Basketball to the National Basketball Arena, Tallaght, which involves the 21 members dribbling 10km each.
This Dribblethon is aiming to raise money for Mallow Search & Rescue (80%), a very worthy local charity that we as a team feel are a very deserving cause as they do fantastic work in our local community, helping to keep people safe both locally and nationally.
We will also be fundraising for Mallow Basketball Club (20%). Our club has suffered greatly from the impact of Covid-19, as our season has been completely cancelled without any matches being played and little to no training taking place. 
The aim of this fundraiser is to raise money for these two worthy causes but also to try and promote the sport of basketball in our local community as our sport has been impacted greatly and we are also aiming to bring the local community together in this time of great difficulty.
We appreciate any donations, big or small, and are very excited to complete our challenge.
