On Thursday, December 18th, 2025, at approximately 4:10 p.m., my dad, Glen Kirkby, was standing at a stoplight when he was struck by a vehicle after one car collided with another. He has been in critical condition ever since.

My father has always been the life of the party. Anyone who knows him knows how much joy he brings to others he lives to make people laugh and feel happy. He loves the outdoors, especially bike riding, fishing, and most importantly, spending time with his grandson—taking him to the park and on little adventures.

Our family has been completely devastated by this sudden and tragic event.

We are asking for support during this incredibly difficult time to help cover medical expenses, ongoing treatment and rehabilitation, lost income, and daily living costs while my dad continues to fight for recovery. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help relieve some of the financial burden and allow our family to focus on being by his side.
