Hi, my name is Natalie, and I am fundraising for my big sister Michelle.

Michelle is only 37 years old, and she is a lupus warrior in end-stage kidney failure. She has been on dialysis for close to four years now and her condition continues to worsen while she waits for a donor. Recently, she spent five days in the hospital and was found to have fluid around her heart - the beginning stages of heart failure.

A mother of four children under the age of 14, she is unable to work due to her illness. The family is supported by her husband, but times are tough. This illness has taken a toll on Michelle, on our family, and on her children.
