Save the Dance Floor at Eutopia!

Eutopia Fitness & Dance was opened in May 2015, and for 5 years built an inclusive community of caring and supportive members looking for a healthy mind-body-spirit experience, and searching for the healthy equivalent of one’s local “Cheers” bar.

Together our community participated in numerous events and fundraisers. Our daily classes integrated dance, fitness, and yoga classes with the best instructors and in an environment where everyone is welcome!  Founding Owner, Kristine Reich, spared no expense in having the best sprung dance floor in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.

I am 66 years old and I can Hip Hop Dance thanks to the incredible Eutopia instructors! I have never met a more inclusive and caring group in a fitness environment. Myself and many other members are just devastated about losing our beloved studio. Your support will mean a world of hope for us that our Eutopia will rise again!

Then- COVID-19... With members sheltering in place and Arizona requiring fitness businesses to close their doors, we are devastated to be losing our space when the studio was unsuccessful in obtaining PPP loans.  Approximately 2,000 sf of beautiful dance floor will be destroyed without funds to remove and preserve with the hope of reopening our beautiful community after the COVID crisis passes. Eutopia is being kicked to the curb on September 30th, and time is of the essence to pay for a contractor to remove the floor and studio mirrors on September 28th.

With hundreds of members like myself heartbroken about losing the studio of “Good Vibes” and having a safe place to be cared for in our community during treacherous times, we hope to raise enough funding to preserve our floor, mirrors, and make good with our landlord with the hope of creating our space again. www.Eutopiafit.com, https://www.facebook.com/megan.mccoy.1276/

I am Megan McCoy from Scottsdale, AZ.  I am a charter member of Eutopia Dance and Fitness Studio.    The funds will be spent to pay the contractor who has removed the floor and mirrors and to store the floor and mirrors.  The funds will also be used for renovations for a new studio and contribute to the money it will cost to open a new studio.
