Lafourche Parish Hurricane Ida Relief
FEED and FUND LAFOURCHE! 100% of proceeds will go to direct support of some of the hardest hit victims of Hurricane Ida living in Lafourche Parish, my home community. Our first distribution of hot meals and supplies on Sunday, September 19, resulted in hot meals for 2000 people, $15,000 in local grocery gift cards to those in need, and portable white boards to help the local school get kids back in the classroom ASAP. Our next distribution is planned for SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3rd at Holy Savior School in Lockport. Please consider donating, spreading news through sharing on your social media, telling your mamma and ‘dem. Our community never gets the same attention or funds as larger cities like New Orleans, but our people deserve the same compassion and assistance.
