This is our beautiful dog Ruby. We rescued her back in December of 2024 from Ninth Life Rescue. She was the sweetest girl we’ve ever met and she helped not only my girlfriend and I, but my entire family, get through the tragic death of both of our dogs. She has a rare genetic disorder in her knees called lateral patella luxation which is uncommon in her breed. It basically means her knee caps formed on the outer side of her legs instead where they were supposed to. She needs immediate surgery or she will be crippled and not be able to fulfill her life. We found this out on her first birthday and it has devastated all of us.
