Unexpected medical expenses

Yesterday morning Jaqueline and I were involved in a car accident caused by the negligence of another driver. Jaqueline sustained a head injury and had to be rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention. Jaqueline received 7 staples to the head. I sustained a concussion with tissue tear. The car hit my side as I was the passenger and can barely move my arm from the impact. Fortunately, Isaiah was not with us at the time as he was staying with his grandparents. Unfortunately, the accident occurred only 3 blocks away from their house. We are still trying to process what happened, as our relaxing Sunday turned into a hospital visit. Isaiah is understandably shaken and confused.

Although the accident was a traumatic experience, we are grateful that Isaiah was not with us at the time. Had he been in the car with us, he could have been seriously injured. We are doing our best to process what happened, but it may take some time for us to fully come to terms with it. We hope to resume our regular routine soon, but for now, our main focus is on taking care of each other and healing from this scary incident.

both of us are hurt, and currently unable to go to work. This will help with anything that insurance doesn’t cover and some bills if possible. The other party is uninsured and was ignorant during the time of the scene, even at fault they choose not to be decent humans. The car is a total loss
