This is taking a lot out of me to start this gofundme account but I figured I would give it a shot...what's the worst that could happen...just being judged I supposed.
So here goes.......
Our small/senior dog yard at my business The Spotted Spa Retreat is in desperate need of an overhaul and a good one to keep up with our competition. My dream is synlawn artifical turf designed for dog runs...this is not cheap. The quote for the area is just shy of $30,000 with $20,000 of that being the product itself. The advantage to having this product over the dirt and scarce grass is partially aesthetics but mostly comfort for our little guys and seniors that visit us. A few other boarding facilities in town are using it and have confirmed, with me, that it does withstand the digging attempts of guests, as well as the crazy running antics that pups get up to.
A couple of additonal expenses that go along with adding this product is relocating the drainage field for the kennel to lower down, as it is currently in the small/senior yard and I would also be planning to add a couple of small dogs lounge pools for the hot summer months...just like the big dogs get.
