Help Luka compete in pan American Championship

Hi, my name is Luka, and I’m 17 years old. I’m a competitive judo athlete with a dream—to represent my country and bring home a title from the Pan American Championship. This opportunity is a dream come true, but I need your help to get there.

Growing up, I faced a lot of challenges. I come from an environment where the odds were stacked against me—where drugs, gangs, and negative influences were all too common. But I made a choice early on to take a different path. It wasn’t always easy. There were moments when it felt like the world wanted me to fail—but I refused to give up.

That’s when I found DARFIGHT—a gym that became my second home and second family. It was there that I discovered judo, a sport that taught me not just how to fight, but how to live with purpose, discipline, and focus. Judo gave me structure. It gave me a reason to push forward, to stay in school, and to keep believing in a better future.

With the help of my coaches and mentors at Darfight, I trained relentlessly. While other kids were falling into traps around me, I poured my heart into the mat. The hard work paid off—I started winning local tournaments, then national ones. Now, I’ve earned the incredible honor of qualifying for the Pan American Championship.

This is more than just a competition for me—it’s the culmination of years of struggle, sacrifice, and resilience. But I’ve hit a wall that many young athletes face: FINANCES. Between travel costs, accommodations, training camps, and competition fees, the expenses have become overwhelming for my family.
