Hello!

This is the Students Choice Coalition. As many of you know, this group formed in 2025 primarily focused on local school board elections. Throughout the months of working all together, we have achieved some amazing accomplishments. We hosted a board forum, coffee with the candidates, a charity concert, and attended all board meetings. We devoted our time to our community and voiced our opinions on what we believed was right. Our group consists of Riley Maida (founder and executive president), Akhiir McNeil (executive vice president), Alexandria Crawford (program director), and Aleyna Birinci (communications/media coordinator). Starting off the 2025-2026 school year strong, we have added some amazing new members who will be taking over our Newburgh Chapter: Cameron Ford, Luke Van De Mark, Stephanie Romano, Tahiri Landolfa, and Silver Stewart.

With what we have accomplished in mind, we are currently planning events in the near future. Our community was so incredibly thoughtful and considerate with the seniors who just graduated that we want to now create a NFA scholarship for scholars who are civically engaged. With limited resources, we are reaching out to see if anyone would generously donate to SCC for either the local high school scholarship or to help with our future events.

We are so grateful for anyone who is able to donate.

Thank you,

Students Choice Coalition
