Hello, my name is Sandra Atkins-Sadler. I was born in Jamaica, but now reside in the United States. Like many of you, I have been heart-broken by the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa that has left an unimaginable path of destruction across Jamaica. This powerful hurricane has caused tragic loss of life, destroyed homes and infrastructure, and left countless families in urgent need of aid. The resilience of the Jamaican people is strong, but the scale of this disaster is overwhelming, and they cannot face this recovery alone.
