My Mom needs help to save our home before it gets foreclosed on. We moved to NC with Nanny and Poppy in 2008. Our Poppy died the within 8 months and our Nanny died in May 2012. Dad moved to California that August of 2012. Our Mom had always been our stay at home Mom, was Nanny’s and Poppy’s full time caregiver. Annalisa, our Mom, has been raising my younger sister and I alone since our father left. It hasn’t been easy for Mom but we know she does her best and loves us. My sister and I both have mental health issues and we know she is always on our side. Mom went through a major surgery last November without health insurance or help from the government and I just had an emergency appendectomy less then a month ago. My sister and I don’t see our father but he has paid his monthly obligation most of the time, on time. Until he remarried and bought a house. My sister and I weren’t invited and we don’t know the lady. Anyway, that’s when Dad started getting behind on his legal monthly support. Ever since the divorce our Mom squeaks by with the bills, and we might not get what we want, but always what we need. Mom has been 30 days late in our mortgage and this was something known to our father. Prior to the divorce he handled all the bills and payments. Mom had to start over but we had our home. So today when he was already five days late on his legal support for the month, he told our Mom that he cannot pay her. Knowing that the money is used towards our home payment that HAS to be paid by the 15th of this month. Because she’s already late on the mortgage the bank will start foreclosing. When my sister went to sleep Mom had me put in her car their wedding china and grandma’s silverware. She has asked friends for help, to no avail, and has no family, except for one cousin. Dad said he “he may” be able to get the money but not until after the 20th. By then it will be too late. Please help me, help my Mom to save our home! Any amount can help and there’s anything left over it will be used towards legally making sure he can’t put us in this position again.
