It is a big moment in the Hatmaji Family! Fr Lazarus, (M.Div. 1990 HC) is celebrating his 25th Class Reunion, his son Hosea is graduating from Hellenic College on May 16th and his second son Dionysios has received a full scholarship to Berea College in Kentucky to begin this fall. AND WE NEED AIRLINE TICKETS for Fr Lazarus and Presvytera Tabitha to attend their son's Commencement weekend at Holy Cross ...AND for Hosea to return home ...AND for Dionysios to come here to begin his studies
We have been working on some options that fell through and that is why this last minute request. We'd like to raise $3000 by MONDAY!
Hosea has been an exemplary student in religious studies at HC HC and in preparation for working side-by-side with his father in Yogyakarta for the Greek Orthodox Church of Indonesia . Fr. Anthony and I have been honored to be the host family for such a fine yong man.
Dionysios-aka Dennis--is an artist and will study art at Berea and will work with Fr. Anthony to study iconography and to take this gift back to his home country. Dennis has worked extremely hard to find this full scholarship and we are duly impressed by his diligence over the past three years to realize his dream.
We hate to see Hosea leave and we look forward to Dennis' arrival.
Anything you can give toward airline travel expenses is a huge help. Help to the family and a help for Orthodoxy in Indonesia.
