My Aunt Lori is someone I have looked up to my whole life. She’s a beautiful, funny, and strong willed human being. She’s endured a lot throughout her journey and has learned to lean on her faith and the relationship she has with God She is a mom to two amazing adult daughters. Her youngest has always lived with her due to not only her unique needs but also the special connection they have. If you know them at all, you know those two are partners in crime.
My Aunt has an amazing heart, she has spent several years advocating for seniors and special needs. Throughout the years she has been involved with ensuring they have access to resources, support and overall just being treated with dignity.
Recently, Aunt Lori made the decision to move from Colorado and return home to Utah. She’s beyond grateful that she felt the nudge to move back not knowing she would need her family now more than ever.
Cancer is never easy and my Aunt Lori has faced so many hurdles already on this journey. Part of those hurdles is that she is unfortunately facing financial challenges due to her diagnosis. She has been unable to work after becoming so weak and has depleted her savings. There is no doubt the road ahead with chemotherapy will be challenging. My aunt is a fighter and has a lot to fight for. If you could take a minute to send her love, say a prayer or just support her in anyway you are able to, it would mean the world to us. If you're able to contribute financially, it could make a significant difference in her fight allowing her to reduce some stress and focus on her health.
