2020 has been tough on everyone, then add this: "I feel like I'm watching our house on fire and we're all standing on the sidewalk just watching it burn down". Life turned upside down.... on top of the year 2020.
Their house isn't on fire but after a plumbing issue and mold, they've now discovered that every room has tested positive for asbestos. Add in living in a hotel for 2+ weeks and attorney fees to address the issue with their landlord and you can imagine the costs that are being racked up. While they have insurance, damages to their personal affects won't be covered due to the manner in which the asbestos was dealt with which was outside of their control.
My brother and sister in law are hard working people who now have to decide what to keep that is possibly covered in asbestos. They would never ask for a dime from anyone and would give their shirt off their backs for a stranger. Please consider helping them out, even if it's simply sharing this campaign! Thank you!
