Tyshawn's Daddy's Girls: Tashera & Kimora

It is a sad week with the close-knit Pressley’s work family. We lost a sweet soul with kind eyes, a sneaky grin and an endearing signature stutter, while Heaven most assuredly gained a new angel with the passing of Tyshawn Green on Sunday, October 23rd, 2022.

Tyshawn joined our awesome kitchen staff just after we opened our doors in the spring of 2013. It is hard to explain our team's dynamics, especially our kitchen crew. Like any family, we love hard, prank each other relentlessly and bicker fiercely… but most of all, we LAUGH infectiously, loudly, and incessantly.

Above & Beyond Tyshawn's work family was always his home family: specifically his 2 young girls: Tashera (15) and Kimora (14). He loved and adored them with every inch of his heart and every ounce of his being. He talked about them constantly. Tyshawn wanted nothing more than to see them succeed and prosper in their lives by advancing in their education beyond Baptist Hill High School. He wanted to see them both go to college,

To that extent, Tyshawn's work family at Pressley's is committed to ensuring that his vision for his girls' future comes to fruition. We are sponsoring a Go Fund Me account for Tyshawn's Daddy's Girls: Tashera and Kimora's Educational Fund.

So many people have reached out and have asked how they can help. So, the Pressley's family has set an initial conservative fundraising goal of $25,000. ( Divided equally among each daughter) However, if you help these two girls, the next ideal goal is closer to $50,000, with our stretch goal at $100,000. Keep in mind; we've got two young lives that, given the opportunity, can change their lives, worlds, and perhaps ours. Dig Deep and Be Generous.
