In 2008 while attempting to remove my damaged vehicle from  the streeet, I was struck from behind by another vehicle. The other driver was texting at the time. The accident resulted in the loss of both my legs below the knee and unexplainable financial hardship due to the medical bills that followed. I lost my home ,my marriage and faced a dismal future.. everything seemed to be gone . With God's help I began to climb the mountain that was before me . I attended therapy and began to learn to take care of myself . In time I was well enough to learn to drive and even return to work. Recently the vehicle i own has broken down and need multiple repairs . It needs a new transmission and other repairs. I'm not on any disability so I'm unable to afford the repairs.  Its been difficult to make it to work,appts , or even do basic things like shopping and picking my daughter up from school. I dont want to lose my job or any of the things I've been so blessed to do. I hope to be able to complete physical therapy and to be able to walk on that mountain that stands before me.The transmission alone will cost  2500 and I'm not sure of the other costs. Any assistance is appreciated.
