Tyrone Fulgham: Official Fundraiser

Donation protected
On September 23, 2021, Tyrone Fulgham, 52, was struck by a motorcycle (whose driver had no license and no insurance) while jogging in Auburn, ME. Tragically his right leg was severed in the collision.

Tyrone graduated from Lewiston High School, and served in the US Army. He is a Mainer. He recently moved back to Maine to support family members struggling with health issues. He is a well respected full-time employee at Bates College.

As many of you know, Tyrone has been an avid runner since high school, and holds various track records that are still in place at Lewiston High. He has provided coaching for junior high and high school runners throughout the greater Lewiston-Auburn community. In the last few years, he has run to raise money for Friedreich's Ataxia, a genetic disorder that took the life of his first daughter, Mariah. He was diligently preparing to race in this year’s Apple Fest 5K in Monmouth, and was prepared to win!

We are asking for your help in raising $50,000 to cover costs beyond his insurance limits, including a prosthetic that will one day enable him to run again!

Thank you for your support,
Alonzo, Horice, Sandra and Stanford Fulgham
