Tyrone Davis's Homecoming
Donation protected
Tyrone Davis, a cherished husband, son, and friend, is coming home to New York after spending over two decades in New York prisons. We (Brittany, Christina, and Ryan) have had the privilege of working with Tyrone as part of NYU’s Parole Advocacy Project within NYU’s Ending the Prison Industrial Complex (EPIC) organization.
All of the funds you contribute will go directly to some of Tyrone’s immediate needs, including housing, clothes/shoes, food, transportation costs, personal hygiene items, as well as a cell phone to help him find stability in his job, home, and community.
Tyrone is a kind person who deeply loves his mother, wife, and family, who are all excited to finally welcome him home. He is equally excited to be home with his family. He exudes positivity to those around him and is passionate about helping others.
Upon returning home, Tyrone plans to continue growing himself and furthering his professional training. He has earned a GED, an associate’s degree, and a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, which he hopes to use to help youth with backgrounds similar to his to navigate difficult situations. He enjoys running support groups and helping people find the help they need. We are confident that Tyrone will be a great asset to his community upon returning home.
We have left every conversation with Tyrone inspired by his kindness, positivity, and gratitude. Tyrone is extremely grateful for any support, and we thank all who donate to help him as he finally comes home!
