Dear Franchisees,
On Monday, July 23rd, our Planet Fitness PA/MD/IL family was tragically rocked when we learned our beloved Baltimore City manager, Tyrique Stokes (pictured above: bottom row far right), passed away in his sleep from a seizure. Ty began his Planet Fitness career in February 2015 as a front desk staff member and PE@PF trainer. Tyrique was an integral part of our success in our first city club, and was quickly promoted to general manager. Ty’s quiet, confident and respectful manner garnered love and respect from not only our PF team, but our members as well.
At just 35 years old, Tyrique leaves behind his girlfriend Stephanie, and his 2 ½ year old daughter, Megan. In consultation with Stephanie, we have agreed to set up a Scholarship Fund for Megan. We are asking you to consider pulling together with us to support Megan and her future.
