Hi my name is Valeria and my family and I are going through a very difficult situation. On October 17th 2025 my dad was called for his heart transplant surgery and was flown from Oregon to Palo Alto California. Unfortunately his surgery was cancelled because of the donor heart not being strong enough and my dad was already cut open. He is now in recovery and will not be leaving the hospital until he receives his new heart.

The first time he was brought to California was two weeks ago and after his surgery got cancelled for the first time we drove back to Oregon. I Valeria his daughter will be having to go back to Oregon to work so i can continue helping my family as much as i can but with everything being so expensive and being in and out of work its very hard money wise. I will be coming back to California once his surgery is programmed again. Due to my mom being his primary caregiver she will not be able to go back to work and any donations will be used towards their rent in Oregon, food, gas, bills and hotel stays when needed. My dad is conscious now and is very worried about all their bills. My mom will need some extra support so she won’t loose her apartment and is able to pay all of her expenses and maybe even a place to stay. He is such a loving husband, father and grandfather. His grandchildren are waiting to have him back home healthy.
