Hi! I'm doing this relief drive in behalf of Heidi Cajes, who is from Bohol, Philippines.

 

The Philippines was recently hit by Typhoon Rai/Odette, this typhoon has misplaced over 380,000 families and has taken the lives of 375 people in the Philippines.

 

As everyone focuses on tourist destinations and big cities affected by the typhoon, there are towns such as Talibon, Bohol that have been rampaged by Super Typhoon Rai/Odette.

 

It’s so difficult there right now that families have to travel 2-3 HOURS to the only city to get proper groceries and cell service and not everyone has the luxury of having a vehicle to travel or have access to travel.

 

With a death toll of 105 just in Bohol as of writing this, we could no longer stand idle. We will also be personally donating but we can only do so much.

 

Your donations will be used to buy groceries, clean water and hygiene products for Talibon, Bohol.

 

Our initial target was to reach 100 families, $10 can already buy them 5kilos of rice, canned goods, noddles, hygiene kits and sanitary pads. $1,000 will be used for relief goods to reach 100 families and the rest will be used for safe drinking water and transportation. Anything in excess will be used to reach more families. YOUR $10 WILL GO A LONG WAY!

Update as of January 3, 2021 with $1,615 raised on GoFundMe and other amounts from other donors, we have managed to reach 250 families. After seeing the situation, we will continue doing relief operations as many as possible to reach more people.

Our target is the remote barangays that cannot be reached by regular food operations, we travel house to house to distribute our relief goods.
