Type 1 DiaBadass on SURVIVOR!

Donation protected
If you’re reading this, you’re part of the inner circle that knows just how much Survivor means to me.

On Sunday, I met Jeff Probst at a tennis event and had a great, but quick conversation with him—which was amazing!!! But now, there’s a chance for more. The event announced that they are auctioning off a Zoom call with Jeff, and I HAVE to take this opportunity. This time I want to go all in and make my actual pitch for why I NEED to be on Survivor.

My “why” for being on Survivor is deeper than just wanting to be on the show. There are currently over 30 million Type 1 Diabetics in the US. Over the span of 50 seasons of Survivor and out of the 750+ contestants that have played the game, NONE have been T1D. Not only do I want to be the first to play, I am determined to be the first to WIN.

This weekend Jeff and I briefly talked about my Diabetes. He made it very clear to me that the only person it’s an issue to is me, and as far as the show goes, they would accommodate me as medically necessary.

The highest bid for the auction is currently $1,010, and I need to raise that (and then some) to win. I’m asking for donations to help me make this happen, and since it’s an auction and only the highest bidder actually pays—In the event that I don’t win, all of the funds raised will be returned. So no risk for you, just the chance to help me take my shot (the kind of shot that I actually want to take).

My tiny vial of insulin, constant finger pricks, and daily injections keep me alive—but Survivor is what makes me feel alive. This show and its incredible community have pushed me beyond the label of living as a Type 1 Diabetic and empowered me to live as a Type 1 Diabadass.

I’m asking for your help to make this dream become a reality. Appreciate you all, let’s Dig Deep!

The auction is currently ongoing and the final bids are due Thursday, February 6th, @ 9:00 PM.
