Loving Lilly
“ It all started August 27th 2018, we where 12 weeks and 4 days pregnant. We went in for our NT scan, it started and ended in a matter of minutes.
We felt something was wrong by the way our tech was acting. She took us to a room and we waited..
A doctor came in and after moments of hesitation told us our baby didn’t have the top of its skull....And that she had Anencephaly... At that moment our world crashed around us. We went though emotions we have never known...
Over the next couple days we went to more doctor appointments, and meetings. She was diagnosed incompatible with life.. They said she won’t live and if she does it wouldn’t be for very long...They then gave us our options....terminate or carry to term.
We chose to carry to term, And leave everything in God’s hands. This was our baby no matter what.
Since that day nearly 6 months have past and they have been the craziest months of our lives, the most emotional, life changing and eye opening, but we wouldn’t trade them. We have made memories, loved harder then we knew we could and soaked in our time, we have grown so much and taught our other children and hopefully other people of what unconditional love is.
Our baby has changed our whole world and she hasn’t even been born yet. We are nearly 39 weeks pregnant now with our Lilly and time is nearing for her grand entrance.
We don’t know what lies ahead for us in the coming weeks other then the overwhelming joy of meeting our angel and then the overwhelming heartbreak that will follow.. But for now we will soak in everyday and make as many memories as we can and love her as hard as we can and keep choosing LIFE and LOVE!!

We go in for our c-section march 1st to meet this sweet angel.
We are asking for donations to help with her end of life costs and to help ease the financial burden from my husband who carry’s our family, so he can be home to grieve and so me and my kids can grieve with him, he is our rock. But also If we are able to bring her home for days or weeks so he can be here to soak in all the time he has with her and not have to worry about missing such precious time. Anything will help it all adds up! Also prayers we ask for so many prayers for time with our daughter and a smooth delivery and peace and grace, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your donation in advance or if you can not donate, thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for your prayers they mean the world to us!
