Sundays transition fund & Top surgery

Hello everyone!

I'm Sunday, a 30-year-old Trans Masc non-binary person.

I have created this fund in absolute desperation, just like many other trans people are forced to do here in the UK due to the lack of public healthcare services for us. As it stands, I have been on the waiting list for public healthcare for too long, and I still have a long time to wait before I even get my first appointment- Which means I could be waiting a further 5+ years to have top surgery and also have access to safe HRT. In addition, my mental health is currently at its worst, and I'm finding every day unbearable and filled with total dysphoria. My body is aching from binding, and my posture is shocking. That's why I aim to have this life-changing surgery by 2022.

I initially hoped to post this fundraiser on my 30th birthday, on 4th March. I wanted to share the joy of coming out and transitioning, but that was put on hold as I had to create a different fundraiser as my partner and I were victims of a homophobic attack in Italy in february. The fundraiser was to cover hospital fees, flights home, legal fees and general living as I was signed off work for 6 months. Unfortunately, this has made it impossible for me to start transitioning due to lack of money and exhaustion.

I currently have an incredibly low income and no access to Universal credit, which leaves me surviving on weekly sick pay.

This is what brings me here, to ask for your help in donating towards my transition with anything that you can spare also sharing this page if you cant donate is also much appreciated :)

The target is set at £10.000; the money raised will be used for having top surgery, which is around £8-9k, including consultations, accommodation and travel. The rest of the funds will be used to access safe HRT and have up to date blood testing.
