Our son is Tyler! He is bright, sweet and very inventive! He is also autistic and non-verbal! Tyler was diagnosed when he was 18 months old. We began every type of therapy that we could find from moment one. As time went on, we have come to the harsh realization that our son is who he is. Tyler will be 10 years old in July 2015! Tyler attends a non-public school that have helped tremendously in helping Tyler work on his skills in every area of life from communication to feeding himself! We are truely blessed to have him in this school! Myself and my husband have come to the realization that our little boy not only needs something to help be a companion but helps reduce his high sensory needs that have not been met through a trampoline or a swing in his room. We also have come across a new disturbing behavior that Tyler has now... running away in public places.
   All this to say, Tyler would be helped greatly by having a service dog. A service dog can be trained to help with all the above mentioned difficulties. If you can help us with any amount of money would help us be able to: purchase the dog, have the dog trained according to what Tyler's needs and all the dog's needs. Thank you in advance!
