Tyler's Village- A Call for Compassion
Donation protected
Hello,
Our family is organizing a Go Fund Me for my brother, Tyler, who is currently in an emergency situation. Tyler has been subjected to financial, emotional, and physical abuse for many years and the reality is just now coming to light. After an extremely traumatic incident, Tyler is now living with other family members and is safe. Over the course of the past few weeks, we have attempted to get his belongings back (clothing, movie collection, small appliances, and his other possessions) but the other party is uncooperative/hostile and won't allow him to get his things, even after 2 attempts from police. Until it is court ordered for us to be able to get the rest of his things, he needs clothes. He has been living out of a suitcase for the past month and has none of his clothes or comfort items, other than a few of his video games. We have attempted to ask via social media for any donations, but haven't had any success.
If you have ever met my brother, you know how incredibly warm his heart is. He is the BEST uncle to our babies, he works two jobs, and always tries his best at everything he does. He is the most thoughtful human, always buying gifts and spending his hard earned money on the people he loves. If you know Tyler and he sees you, you can expect a big huge bear hug. Tyler has been overly generous to all the people he loves and even strangers his entire life. If you know Tyler, you know that his movies and his belongings are so incredibly important to him. Tyler wants to join a bowling league and attend social groups where he can finally meet some new friends this summer. He is also in the process of receiving services for the first time in his life. It is a long road ahead, but we are determined to get him every service he is entitled to. However, his first priority is to get adequate clothing and a bed since we do not know when we will be able to retrieve the rest of his belongings.
Throughout this horrific experience, Tyler has remained positive and resilient. He is so intuitive and genuine and will now be able to thrive with the supportive environment he has always deserved.
If you are able to donate even $5, it will go towards helping Tyler to rebuild his life, starting with getting him some decent clothing and other essentials. If anyone deserves a helping hand it is him.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Kayla and Matt Crocker
