As all our friends and family know, my boyfriend Tyler Santos was involved in a very serious bike accident on the night of Monday May 25th, 2022. His close family has been doing everything we can for the past 24 hours while he was in the trauma unit after getting med flighted from the scene of the accident, and we will continue to do so as he recovers.
Tyler is a generous, hardworking young man, Just starting his journey in life with incredible ambition and a huge heart caring for everyone he meets. If only his bones were equally as tough! Tyler loves mountain biking, snowboarding, riding his motorcycle and anything else that will get him out into nature. He is always looking to improve himself in everything he does whether its work or extracurricular.
He has recently started a new job with a welding company. After graduating Tri-county in 2018 with great grades, excellent performance and a Metal fabrication certificate he was finally able to utilize his metal fabrication experience. His place of work is working with Tyler on keeping his new career, but his physical condition is going to be a MAJOR obstacle to perform his day-to-day work and life task, making it nearly unrealistic to hold a job with his injury’s.
Tyler’s unfortunate accident has caused him to suffer from a broken femur and broken shoulder as well as a fractured ankle. Physical and orthopedic therapy are now on the agenda as we begin to work on gaining his full body functionality back. We live together in an apartment with an amazing dog, who’s going to miss his dads love for the time being. With a costly daily life in mind that will now include medical expenses, lawyer fees and tow fees along with the current cost of living.
We empathize that times are tough right now for many with recent inflation but I hope that you can find it in your heart to donate whatever amount is possible for you! Tyler is in good spirits and is so grateful for the overwhelming amount of support from his loved ones. We are extremely blessed to still have Tyler here with us today. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering a donation to help support Tyler’s recovery!
