Tyler's got hops all the way to the USA

This is Tyler a 14 year old Welsh International basketball player from Townhill in Swansea. Tyler has been selected to attend the Red Auerbach International basketball school in the USA in July giving him the opportunity to train, learn and develop under some of the most talented and experienced coaches developing young stars today.

Tyler lives and breathes basketball, it truly is his passion and in his own words " this is his dream come true"

His love for basketball started only a short 18 months ago when when he attended his first training session with local club Swansea Storm where he quickly became a starting player and integral part of the team. Having now completely fallen in love with the sport Tyler went through the vigorous selection process for the U15s Welsh International team where not only was he successful but was part of a select few chosen to represent his country on the European stage in the EYBL tournament in Slovakia, this was not just a huge honour for him to wear his national strip but also to be part of the 1st Welsh team to have ever taken part in this Premier competition, he really is a little trailblazer!!!

Playing now at Local and International level Tyler wanted to push himself further and trialled for the National League Vale Vipers team where he is now a key part of the squad regularly selected for national games and is also training with the U16s to challenge himself even further.

Now this is the part where Tyler needs your help, due to the lack of funding available in Wales everything Tyler does is parent funded from kits and training sessions to travel and everything else in between so we are fundraising to ensure we can make this young boys dream a reality. We appreciate any donations big or small and they will all go a long way to getting Tyler slam dunking in Boston.
