Tyler's Generosity Lives On Through Organ Donation
Donation protected
Tyler Brewerton lived a life in the fast lane. He had a passion for the thrill, power, and control of what he felt behind the steering wheel and for what he chased. He had a passion for cars, particularly Audis. In recent years, the economy took its toll, and Tyler had some dire financial times. Tyler was a beloved son, brother, friend, and uncle (several thought of him as a funcle or Fun Uncle). He was always very generous and would do anything for those he loved. On January 29, Tyler experienced a severe cardiac event and lost consciousness. Although the first responders were able to resuscitate him, the oxygen deprivation to his brain proved to be unrecoverable. Due to his young age, Tyler can be an organ donor and bless many other lives. He will be on life support for a few more days until his organs can safely be harvested. The family is grateful he can do this and it is something he would want to do in a final act of generosity. At the time of the incident, Tyler was 39 years old and lived near Dallas Texas. This incident is devastating to the family and the unexpected healthcare, funeral (including transport back to Idaho), and other associated costs will be substantial. The family is very appreciative of all the love and support it is currently receiving.
Update: Late on February 4, the family was informed that it was time to perform the surgery to remove life-saving organs. Tyler passed away just moments after the ventilator was removed. The family again wants to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
