Hi, my names Tyler Im a type 1 diabetic, Im 16 years old. I was just randomly diagnosed 3 years ago, my numbers are always all over the place. So my goal with this fundraiser is too raise money for me too get a service dog, Im a pretty active kid I like to play golf, race bikes, ski, & workout. With my sensor being behind it doesnt tell me my blood sugar in real time making it a little bit harder to manage while being active, my hopes for the dog is that it will help me regulate my blood sugar and help me live safer.

What would a service dog do for me?

A service dog for diabetics like myself is capable to save me in emergencies such as if I were to pass out they can find someone to call 911, they can alert me before my cgm tells me if my sugar is high or low 15-30 minutes in advance which would be so helpful, this would help me live much more comfortable knowing I have a dog that will help me.
