I am setting up this GoFund Me Page for my dear friend, Tyler Butler because he is facing the fight of his life and the very last thing he needs to be worried about is finances. If you know Tyler....you love him. He is the first person to help out when needed, and the last person to ask for help himself. His smile will light up a room and his heart is as big as Texas. He needs our help now and I know that there are so many people that love him and will share his story.   After feeling under the weather for a while and experiencing unexplained bruising, Tyler went to Tennova Medical Center on May 6, 2016. He was immediately transferred to Vanderbilt in Nashville for a blood transfusion and further testing. After undergoing extensive testing through the night, Tyler was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL). He has started aggressive treatment and will be staying the medical ICU during the first phase of his treatment, which should last several weeks.

Tyler's treatment will be long and debilitating, and it will be quite some time before he will be able to return to work. In addition to the long fight Tyler is facing until he gets into remission, he is facing some extreme financial challenges as Tyler will be hospitalized for several months.
