Tyler's Road to Recovery: Severe Brain Injury
Donation protected
"Today's impossibilties are tomorrow's miracles".
Monday the 3rd of June 2019 is a date I will now never forget. Tyler Roberts had an awful car accident and no one at the time knew the severity. Anyone that knows Tyler knows that he is the most loving, caring and kind soul all of only 21 but little did anyone nor I know that this afternoon would change his life forever. Here is Tyler's story told by me.
Tyler was flown in a medically induced coma from Biggenden Hospital to the Royal Brisbane Hospital which we devestatingly were told that he had suffered a very severe brain injury. No one can prepare you for such heart breaking news... no one. Tyler spent 19 days in ICU and each day he showed them all how determined and strong and that nothing would stop him from coming back to his family and friends. He was then transferred to the neurological ward where he spent another 27 days. He is now currently in rehab at the Princess Alexandra (today 25.7.19 is day 53) and only time will tell how long he will be there for. He is doing an amazing job trying to push himself everyday. I just really wanted to do this page to support Tyler because there is not one ounce of bad and he didn't deserve this but he is a fighter and is pushing on.
We knew he would never give up on us, so we would never give up on him. Rehab is far from an easy road however it is on the road to eventually and hopefully coming home and all money will help Tyler in this direction. Should you feel moved to do so it would be greatly appreciated if you could please donate, every bit helps.
Thanks so so much,
Cheers
