As of this week, the Thompson family has found out Tyler has Leukemia.

Tyler's cancer is in his bone marrow and is considered type ALL. ALL is "Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia" it is also considered the most common cancer in children and the most treatable.

He was admitted to Helen Devos Children's Hospital on Thursday, June 24th. He has a week long stay before he is sent home, then returns weekly for treatment, which will turn into monthly after some time until he is in remission. The Devos hospital, nurses and doctors have shown tremendous kindness, professionalism, and optimism for Tyler and the family. We have so much faith in his treatment and recovery!

The family ask for your help at this time through GoFundMe and to reach out through message and not phone calls. It's a busy and challenging time and they wish to spend their moments taking care of Tyler.
