Hello Family and Friends of Tyler Corcoran, Shannon Bluett and their sweet baby Maximilian. Shannon, Tyler and baby Max have been in Anchorage since 2/7/2021 due to a unexpected medical complication in Shannon's pregnancy that resulted in an emergency medevac to Anchorage for the delivery of Max. Max was born prematurely at 33 weeks old and has been in the Providence NICU since then. He was born at 2 lbs.- 12 oz. and grows stronger by the day.
About a week after Max was born, Shannon continued to have some serious health issues that resulted from the pregnancy and birth. Shannon was told that she didn't heal properly from her spinal tap resulting in spinal headaches. After tests, she later found out she had a blood clot on her brain which caused more seizures. The medical teams from Providence and Alaska Regional immediately started treating Shannon and removed the blood clot and did a blood patch to fix the complications from the spinal tap. Shannon was released from the hospital on Feb 22 and is doing so much better now. Tyler has been a solid rock from the start of this sweet new family and to quote Shannon's own words, "Tyler is an incredible partner (as always) and did everything to keep us safe and healthy while handling his own emotions".
Little Mighty Max is the most amazing blessing for the Bluett and Corcoran families! However, with this unexpected ordeal, they now need some help with the expenses of a new little one, medical, travel, and their monthly bills. They both have not worked now for a month and their leave has been exhausted. If you can help, please do. Thank you for your support, prayers, and words of encouragement. It is much needed by them and they feel very loved.
