Hello, dear friends and family,
On Wednesday, February 9, minutes before 8:00 a.m., Tyler Thomas Scott, beloved husband of Ameeta Scott, passed on to his eternal abode after enduring 24 days on a life support, 19 of which were in isolation. He contracted COVID-19 early January and was admitted to St. Anthony('s) Hospital within a week of being sick. During his ordeal he was mightily prayed for by family, friends, churches, coworkers, those he knew and those he did not know from around the world. He fought hard to allow Ameeta, and those who could, the chance to see, hold, and wish him goodbye before he breathed his last. With family and friends propping her, Ameeta was able to celebrate Ty's 44th birthday on Sunday, February 13, his first in heaven. Ameeta, her sister Ryna, best friends, and friends-like-his-parents visited him one final time on Valentine's Day before he is cremated.
Those who know of his passing, and those who have since learned, are in shock at this turn of events. It is an excruciating reality to accept and has yet to sink in. For those who are blessed to know Ty, heaven is the only other place he would want to be if he couldn't remain with his wife. Since his passing, Ameeta has been flooded by messages about Ty's goodness from even those who met him only once. There aren't enough words to describe all that Ty was and did for others in the all-too-short life he was allowed, and the world seems dim without his larger-than-life presence and radiant smile.
Ty was a financial advisor himself, and the primary earner and manager of their monies, but as you can imagine, the suddenness of his hospitalization on full sedation and isolation for almost a month, followed by his demise, have left Ameeta in a bit of a lurch monetarily, and she is in need of funds to pay immediate/upcoming expenses. Your gift will be applied toward hospital bills and key household expenses to help her stay afloat while navigating Ty's financial arrangements for their future.

His funeral service is Saturday, February 26th, 10:30 a.m., Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Arvada, CO. Please spread the word. He will be laid to rest in the spring on his family plot beholding the wide open skies and plains of Montana, which he most loved.
You are most welcome to share any pictures and memories you have with us. Please hold Ameeta and their families in your prayers for the graces they need to find their way in a world left behind by their irreplaceable Tyler Thomas Scott.
