Tyler Price Fundraiser

As some of you know, Lexi and Tyler have been together for almost eight years. They first met when they were just babies and kept in touch throughout the years. Lexi knew they were meant to be when she was about seven years old, writing "Alexis Kae Price" in hearts on her church bulletins. We believe Tyler knew back then too, but we knew he'd never admit it.

Fast forward to January 2015, Tyler and Lexi began dating and fell hard for each other. They were engaged in 2017, married in 2018, and had their second child in 2020. Up until recently, they believed they had gone through more "thick and thin" situations than most and really came out of each one feeling stronger and more in love than whatever was previously thrown at them. If you know Tyler and Lexi personally, you know they laid all their cards on the table before they got married, and each of them said, "THIS IS ME",--the other replying, "well, that's exactly who and what I need". Their love knows no bounds.

On Thursday, August 4, Tyler was riding his four-wheeler on a routine trail for work that crosses over a railway hidden by a row of trees. At the last second, he turned and his four-wheeler was clipped by the train and he was thrown into a nearby ditch covered in rocks. He is currently in the ICU with a serious head injury and undergoing multiple procedures.

As of now, the doctors have removed a major portion of the left side of his skull to remove pressure and allow his brain to swell. They found a blood clot on his temporal lobe and removed that successfully as well. They are keeping him in a medically-induced coma so that he doesn't move, which is a concern for both his head injury and his C3 vertebrae fracture.

The doctors have let us know that this recovery will likely last weeks to months, but we are finding small daily miracles that are providing hope and keeping us positive. We will be updating this page as we find out more so you can follow Tyler's progress and celebrate his successes with us.

We appreciate what you're able to give in any capacity. The funds raised will be going towards extensive medical bills, time off work for Tyler and Lexi, and meals for their family.

This fundraiser is being organized by Destiny Sisk & Quintessa Piatz, sisters-in-law of Tyler and sisters to Lexi. All parties of this family live in Bismarck, ND. These funds plan to be used for any needs the prices having: medical bills from initial stay at Sanford in Bismarck, Craig Hospital (neurorehab in Denver) bills (therapy and hotel/boarding fees), flights for family members to see their loved ones, day-to-day expenses that will occur from being unable to go to work (both of them). All funds will be distributed directly to Lexi & Tyler's account.
