Tyler Marklein Memorial Fund

A little over a week ago I lost my nephew to suicide. While it’s a particularly difficult time for myself and my family my sister (Tyler’s mom) is experiencing something that no parent should have to. Tyler was her only child, her brightest star and her reason. If anybody knew Tyler the first thing they’d tell you is how big his heart was. He was full of kindness, love, and compassion. Tyler was always putting other people’s needs ahead of his and all he ever wanted to see was for people to get along and love each other. Tyler was a goofball with a quirky personality, you could hear one of Tyler’s dry jokes coming from a mile away but it would still somehow make you laugh. His smile was infectious. He was an amazing brother, husband, son, stepfather and all around amazing human being. Tyler was a volunteer firefighter and he proudly served our country as a US Army Soldier. I’ve been in contact with my sister since this tragedy occurred wondering how I could help. All I can do is really listen, realizing there’s nothing you can say to a parent who has lost a child to soften the pain. After much consideration I thought starting this go fund me would help her. My sister is self employed and has a small home based business selling women’s clothing. Since this occurred she has been unable to work or do just about anything. I thought starting this go fund me could help her in this difficult time to pay bills and stay afloat. My sister was a truly amazing mom that always put her son first. I’m grateful for any size donation to help my sister through this unimaginably hard time.
